a) without flaps – when block and cover is trimmed to the same size;
b) with one flap – when cover is narrower than a block on the flap folding line;
c) with two flaps – when cover is wider than a block on flaps folding lines.

PERFECT BINDING BLOCK TYPES: 
a) perfect bound – when block spine is trimmed and cover is glued on;
b) sewn in sections – when cover is glued on the block in sewn sections.
